Yoder Reunion

On Sat we had the Yoder Reunion. It was fun to see the Yoder side of Mike's family and get to know them better.

Mast family Christmas!

On Christmas Eve after Mike got home from work we loaded the kids in the car and headed out to look at lights one last time this holiday season. The houses behinf our chrich do a wonderful job and had to go see them again this year. We loved to drive around and see all the lights the night before Christmas. When we got home we put Michael in bed and let Katie stay up just a little longer. When she finally feel asleep we put all the gifts under the tree. Mike wanted to stay up till midnight and do the mas Merry Christmas text message. but we could stay up any longer.

On Christmas Day the kids got up and watched a dvd for some time before they went to the tree. Katie loved opening her gifts.

This year Katie really got the point of gifts and opening them up. She even helped with Michael's gifts. Michael would crawl around the tree pulling all the bows off the gifts and want to eat them.

This Christmas was a relaxing one. We were able to just take it easy and do what we wanted and not have to worry about doing things at certain times. Brian came over to hang out and have some food. We were able to talk to mom and dad on skype. My aunt and uncle called too. it was nice to talk to thema nd see Katie interact with them.

Christmas lights

Last night we took the kids to see some Christmas light. The light show was the best. We went pat several house with lights and then to the chruch to see theirs.

The night started out bad but had a perfect ending. We plan to go see more lights tonight. I love this time of year. Katie's lights up and so does Michael when they see the lights. I love it when we drive by lights and katie screams " lights mommy look" I am so glad she understand them now and can enjoy them. Michael just gets happy to see all the colors and stats to kick his feet.

So much to do

I have been trying to nest the past couple of weeks. We worked on the kids room today. I have been organizing the toys in age groups and getting all the clothes in bins for the ages. I am trying to make it easy for when the new baby comes. I will be glad when everything is organized. Just in time for Christmas I hope. I will be glad when they are in their rooms for naps and bed. Then I can work in our room. I will be happy for when we move and I can decorate the rooms the way I want to. I have so many ideas and plans in my head.

Jungle Gardens

Last night we took the kids to Jungle Gardens to see the Christmas lights. We had so much fun with our friends. Katie got to play on the playground, feed the birds and run around with Ashley. I love how we do it every year. Next year Michale can run with them. It wasn't a bad night. Yea there were lots of people but it wouldn't have been the same with out them there. The activities was Katie favorite part of the night.

Winter Wonderland

Last night we took the kids to a winter wonderland. It was cold but Katie had a blast. She got to see santa again and play on the playground. She had a hot dog and lots of fun at the petting zoo.

Christmas Party

We had a Christmas party to go to for Mike's work. We had so much fun. We laughed and talked and didn't have to run after kids. Our friend Robin sat with them. We were able to talk and spend time with people Mike worked with at other stores that we don't get to see that offten. The food was wonderful.

Holiday Time

Now that the holiday time has come, we have done alot. We shoped on black friday. We got most of out gifts for everyone that day. We took the kids to the holiday parade. they had so much fun. It was a little cold but Katie just had a blast.

The kids got to see santa. That was fun. Next year will be better I hope.

We put one of our Christmas trees up. We gotthe family tree up. the kids tree I havn't put up due to no room for it. next year I will put it in the playroom.

I have all the kids shopping done. Now I just need to get Mike's and my brother's gifts and I am done. I have been working on our Christmas cards. I am so happy on how they turned out this year. Now to just take the Christmas pictures and spend time with Katie making cookies. This is going to be a great Christmas minus my parents and brother being here :(

Thanksgiving

This year it was just Mike, the kids and I for Thanksgiving. We had such a relaxing day. We took are time and didn't have to rush to eat at a certain time. We watched the parade and just layed around the house. After we ate Brian came over to have pie and visit with us. We had so much fun.

Michael was in his highchair today and had carrots and sweet potato. He had such a fun time. He was scooting all around the family room wanting to to walk on his hands and feet.
