Busy mommy

Being sick is not fun but you keep going with small kids in the house. Last week we stayed in the house as much as we could. I really wasn't up to go out unless I really had to. Monday was not a good day. I was still under the weather, but it ended up being a great day. Katie and I did crafts while Buddy slept. Mike closed that day so it was just my all day. That night it ended up being a Early bed night for the kids and I just curled up on the couch and watched TV. Tuesday Mike was off so it was nice to have the help with the kids. We had to go around town to take care of some things but other then that it was back to the house for some family time. We watched TV with the kids and made a great meal. Wednesday Mike closed so that ment a 11 start time for him. Since I didn't seem to be getting better and we are running out of time for me to get better I went to see the doctors. He gave me some meds to help and boy are they helping. Michael was caughing a little and congested so I called the doctor and got him in also. Nothing bad but they gave him some drops to help him sleep. Man do they work wonders. We are getting a full nights sleep now. He is even back in his own room at night and for naps. I am glad we are on the bend over here. Mike was off again on Thursday so that ment another family day. I love our family days. We don't have to do anything outrageous, sitting at home as a family is all we need. I did have to find ribbon to make some bows so I loaded Michael up in the car and off to the store we went. I was unable to find the ribbon so we headed to Publix to pick up a few things. Friday the kids and I hung out at the house doing crafts and just having fun. Everyone seemed to be doing better. We did lot of playing pretend. Right now it is all about Dora. We had dinner with Brian and it is always fun. I will say spicy food and I don't mix. Yesterday I needed to go find some Capri jeans for our photo shoot on Tuesday. So I loaded the kids up to go to Old navy and Target. I found one pair of pants that I can make into Capri's. I also bought the kids their St. Patty's Day clothes. At Target I picked up some things for dinner and then we headed home. Katie was very fussy and not feeling the best. To my surprise when we got home both kids took long naps. I was able to lay down for a bit then started dinner close to when Mike was getting home. Last night we just stayed in and watched some TV. Today we have been staying in. When we got up it was windy and raining. Not a day to go out and play. Michael took a nice long nap so far. Katie played and eat her food. When Michael got up the two have them have been none stop playing. I am so glad they get a long so well and can just play for hours. Tonight we will watch a movie for our Mast family movie night. Not sure what to watch.

No sick day for mommy

There is no sick day for mommy. Since my birthday I have been getting sick. Friday Mike closed and it was just the kids and I. We hung out at home. I really didn't want to take the kids out while I was not feeling so good. We watched movies and colored. Coloring seems to be Katie's favorite thing to do these days. I got Michael to bed so Katie and I watched a movie and waited for Mike to get home. When mike got home he brought my gift home. I got a new laptop. This laptop is the best. So small and light. He came home and picked up Katie and went to get dinner for him and a shake for me. We got Katie to bed and just watched TV and talked.
On Saturday Mike had to be at work at 9. So the kids and I ran some errands. I had to pick and drop of cleaning for him. We also did a Target run for diapers and wipes. We had lunch with Mike. Ben and Alli were coming over for dinner and to hang out for my birthday. We decided to do pizza. Mike got off work at 6 and they showed up then too. We had a blast with them. We always have fun when we get together. It was nice to just hang out at home with our friends. Michael slept and Katie had fun runny around with Ben and Alli.
Sunday I was really not feeling that good. Mike had to work and I wished he was off. We did have lunch with Mike. That was not a good time. They didn't have our name down and we sat that for like ever. We finally got a table then had to wait for them to take our order. I did need to go to Target to get formula but Katie was being her tired self. So I took the kids home for a nap and had Mike bring the formula home with him. We had left overs and watched Amazing race. We got the kids to bed and decided to go to bed since I wasn't feeling well and Mike was going to get up with the kids if they got up so I could get some rest. At around 1AM I had to take a steam shower to see if that would help with the pain. At around 3AM I had to take meds so I could get some sleep. I knew if I didn't get rest that it would make for a long day. Mike closed tonight and with me not feeling so hot. We went to get juice at Publix for Katie and I. We came home and both kids needed a early nap. I was in a lot of pain. All I wanted was for Mike to come home for lunch when he does every day he closes so i could take a nap. He cam home and we just talked. I am so glad that he is off tomorrow. I hate how I get sick the last three months I am always pregers. All I wanted to do is sleep today and feel better. There are just no sick days for mommy :(
