This week I'm linking up to a super fun blog carnival called Friend Making Monday!

So with that said, here's my version of 20 questions for you.

1. Do you cook every night?
I try to cook every night. Easy stuff.

2. What kind of laundry detergent do you use & why?
anything High Efficiency.

3. Do you do laundry every day or loads at a time?
i wish i did laundry every day. most of the time i do laundry twice a week

4. How often do you eat out per week?
not alot. we use to go every Sat night with brian for diner. now we do dinner in with brian

5. Where do you usually eat out?
olive garden

6. What is your favorite retail store?
♥Target♥ for me and BRU and Carters for the kids

7. What's your favorite thing to drink?
Coke/Pepsi

8. Do you take vitamins? What kind?
nope

9. What percentage of the household chores to you do?
most. leave the dusting to the hubby

10. Do your children do chores? {Or will they, did they, etc}
not right now but when they are older i will have them do chores

11. Do you go to church?
yes we do. i try to go every Sunday but with hubby working on Sundays i don't like to take all 3 kids with me. when parents are home my daughter goes with them.

12. Do you have a housework schedule?
no. wish i did some times.

13. Do you keep a working budget?
No, we're pretty bad at that. But we are good with our money. We just need to cut back a little more.

14. What do you do at night as a family?
We eat dinner together, watch a movie and have game night

15. How do you prepare yourself for a new week?
on Sunday i like to get the house clean and in order. then get the meals all set for the week.

16. What do your mornings look like?
well the differ with each day. on the days that hubby opens i am up with the kids at 8am. the days that mike closes or is off he gets up with them. we get food on the table and start our day off.

17. What time do you get up in the mornings?
8am

18. What time do you go to bed at night?
i try to get to bed by 10 but some nights kids get up when i am getting into bed and have to stay up with them.

19. How do you manage all of the paperwork that floods into your household? {bills, we have bills all over but i try to get everything all in one place. we keep the important things and toss the crap..

20. How do you keep your household organized? {calendars, charts, etc}
i keep the calendar. charts we have in a binder.

a day like no other

yesterday started out like no other day...

we got up and mike went to work. katie played dress up and make believe. buddy just wanted to play with his cars and katie's doll house. i got c down for his am nap. when c got up i had buddy down for what i thought was a nap. c was in his seat and katie was playing with him. while i was doing dishes i head a crack. the next thing i know c's seat is flipped over and c is on the floor crying. next we are on the phone with the doctor. was able to get him in. the next things is to load all 3 kids up (yes i said all 3 kids) to go to the doctors. we get there, unload stroller and head in. we got in the room and i let buddy out. put pandora on and buddy just danced around the room. what i thought was so cute was he grabbed his blanket and just sat down still dancing. now i always bring extra things in the bag but today i just grabbed diapers and sippys. on this visit buddy peed out. no outfit for him. so i changed his diaper and took his outfit off and thought it would be ok. i turned my back for a sec and off the diaper went. c got the all clear but watch for the next 48 hours. all 3 kids fell asleep on the way home. i got c back down one we got home but had to go in and stir him so often. both eh older kids were up but stayed in beds and watched a dvd.

we were going to have pictures for the kids done for b-day with krystal. had to change due to today advents. we will do them in the next few weeks. this way i can get more props for them and find outfits for us all
this day started out like no other day but every day you never know what it will bring. i can't wait to see what today will bring

kids birthdays

this year the kids birthdays are over... so now to start thinking of next year. i have already picked katie's and christian's party theme. they are going to have the time of their life. now i just need to pick buddy's theme and then starting the decorations. i am so glad i was able to pick them early. i bet no will have the same theme as they do.

what a ray of sunshine you are. i saw you first at the hospital the day you were born and fell in love with you. i couldn't be in the delivery room when you were born because i was baby sitting your sister,Katie, but i got there as fast as i could. i remember how you cried when anyone but your mother held you, your black hair and adorable little face. buddy, you have brought us so much joy and love. you always have a bright smile, you love to laugh and you have, even now at a year old, a generous loving spirit. We love you dearly and thank God for you every day of our lives. God made you for a great purpose and may you always know your unique qualities and talents from God. i pray you have peace, security, joy, love and that the Holy Spirit always indwell in you. i pray you will be kind, generous, loving, compassionate, love learning, have a teachable spirit, and do great things for good in this world. always listen to that little voice which tells you to do good even when it's hard to do. i pray the Lord send you good Christian friendships and when it comes time for you to marry a wonderful Christian wife. friendships are important, always treasure those friends who truly care about you and don't be deceived by false friends. don't get sidetracked with the unessential things which keep you from your calling in God. i pray that God will direct your steps, lead you in His Way ,His Light and His truth. may you bear the fruits of patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control. always know you are loved by the Lord and that we love you and pray for your welfare your future, all the days of our lives.

our dear sweet Katie

first of all i want to tell you how much we love you. i was in the delivery room the day you were born and I cried for the sheer joy of your precious life and you have been a treasure to us your whole life. i pray for you and your brothers every day, of course, always for your good health and safety but just as important i pray for your walk with the Lord, in full obedience to his laws and to know who you are in Christ. for you were made for a high purpose and i pray you will know your talents early, keep your eyes on your calling and don't be sidetracked with the unessential to your purpose. i pray you will always do what is right, care about others,show kindness, compassion and love to others. i pray you will love learning, have a teachable spirit, and use everything you learn for the good of this world. i pray the Lord will send you good, Christian friends in your life for i know how important friendships are and when it comes time in your life to marry, i pray God will send you a wonderful Christian man with whom you can spend your life. i look at you now and see a beautiful girl and a sweet, loving person who enriches our life and those of others. i pray God will give you your heart's desire and that your your desires will always be in alignment with the Lords'. may you never walk in doubt or fear but filled with the Holy Spirit and always conduct yourself in a way that invests in your future. may peace and joy accompany you all the days of your life. we love you, our dear sweet Katie.

our little lady's party

we had a great party yesterday. i had started planning the party since buddy's birthday. i am glad that our little lady wanted a ladybug party. the cake was perfect and the guest had a fun time. here are some of the pictures from our time with our little ladybug katie.

My whole world changed 3 years ago!

i remember this day three years ago so clear in my head. it goes by so very quickly...
and before i even knew it, here you are, all girl.

Katie,

you are the joy of my life. i wanted a girl so badly. i hoped and prayed that you would be. i am blessed to have you as my first child. you made having others seem like a walk in the park. you always put a smile on my face. you love love it when daddy will come home on lunch or for the day and you just jump right on ans ask for a "piggy ride." you love to be with friends and family. you are our little love. you are quiet a little lady, our lady. so believe me when i say i take in and cling to every girlish thing about you.

i had a baby shower for my daughter and my middle child. i didn't have one for my youngest. wasn't time for one. i hope you enjoy the pictures.

Needs a good home

Julie


is a labrador, dalmation and probably other breeds mix. we found her in the park on the 25th of July and took her to the vet. the vet thinks she's less than a year old and a true stray. she had mange, fleas, and secondary infections from the mange. we paid for her vaccinations, deworming, and medications for the mange and secondary infections. she's 48 pounds and a real cutie. she's responding well to the medications and people often comment about how adorable she is. she loves the water, fetch and loves to be cuddled. she doesn't know how to play with other dogs and would profit from a training school. she kisses my feet when I feed her and tries to comfort if she feels one of us is upset. she's great in the house ,is house broken, knows commands such as paw,sit and lay down. someone taught her those things and obviously loved her but never took her to the vet. maybe they couldn't afford it. She especially loves anyone who is willing to play with her. she has formed an attachment to Chris because he walks her and plays with her. she loves Ray too and shows it by greeting him at the door each evening, wagging her tail and kissing his hands. we can't keep her because we have two little dogs that won't accept her and we live in a community that has restrictions on the number of pets you can own. Julie puts us over the limit. she's a great loving dog that would be a wonderful companion for a family with older children, yard, and the only pet. i can't wait to see her in water as she just loves the hose. she practically knocks me over when I'm watering the plants outside, to play in the water. she likes being outside too...loves the sunshine. she's a smart loving dog who needs a home of her very own. if anyone knows someone who if you want her and you are in the San Diego area contact me at mdmsgirls@gmail.com

our rainy day

on our rainy day we stayed home. c has been rolling around and having fun. katie watched some tv and did crafts with me for the bday party. buddy played with his toys. the older kiddos helped me pack up the house for our big move. today was a great day for use. i look forward for many more days were the kiddies and i can have fun doing crafts together.
