what a day... what a year...

yesterday was halloween. i took the kids to have lunch with their dad since he had to close and was unable to go trick or treating with us. while we were at lunch mike's mom called and told us that his grandmother was in a coma and had a fever of 104. we took the kids to his store so they could trick or treat. on the way home mary called and let me know that the doctors told mike's mom that it would be any minute. when i was on the phone with mike i got the call.

that night i got the kids home and we talked on skype with my parents. i then got everyone ready to go trick or treating. i had the boys in the wagon. we hit a couple house and then decided that i need the double stroller. we turned home and got the stroller. katie did such a great job. she went to the door all on her own. if she needed help with ringing the bell i would go help. with all the candy she got she got enough for her and her brother. when we got home all 3 kids were sleeping within 20 minutes.







why it is called what a day... what a year... as most of you know this past april mike's dad passed away. ( read here if you are new to blog)yesterday mike's grandmother passed away. this has been a year for mike.
